A New Chapter in World Orchid Conference History

Knowledge Shared. Knowledge Preserved. Knowledge Accessible.

For more than seventy years, the World Orchid Conference has been the premier international forum for orchid science and horticulture. Each conference has expanded our collective knowledge through presentations by leading researchers, conservationists, breeders, and growers from around the world. Until now, however, that knowledge has largely remained within the pages of printed Proceedings.

Today, the World Orchid Conference Trust is delighted to announce a historic milestone.  For decades, access to these Proceedings was largely limited to conference attendees and owners of the printed volumes. Today, that changes.

Thanks to the generosity of the Taiwan Orchid Growers Association (TOGA), the Proceedings of the Virtual World Orchid Conference 2021 and the Proceedings of the 23rd World Orchid Conference (Taichung, Taiwan) are now available online through the World Orchid Conference Trust website. This is the first time in the history of the World Orchid Conference that official Proceedings have been made publicly accessible in digital form.

These volumes contain hundreds of pages of scientific papers, horticultural presentations, conservation research, and historical records that can now be explored by orchid enthusiasts, students, researchers, and growers worldwide.
